Ingredients: organic sugar, apricot kernel oil, olive oil, sunflower seed oil, coconut oil, rice bran oil, emulsifying wax, stearic acid, unrefined beeswax, skin-safe fragrance, lime essential oil, unrefined cocoa butter, tocopherol acetate, *preservative (phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, ethylparaben, butylparaben, polyparaben, isobutylparaben)
*preservative is added to inhibit the growth of bacteria in the likely event that water is introduced into the product. As much as we all like to feel that our products are "all-natural", we have to be realistic and acknowledge that some bacteria, fungus, and yeasts are not what we want to be rubbing on our skin. Sugar and water provide the perfect breeding ground for such microorganisms to thrive. We have decided to add these preservative ingredients to our product to inhibit their growth. We value safe products and preservatives that have been scientifically proven to work and keep people safe from harmful bacteria.
