The dyes used in this product are water soluble dyes and are not known to dye skin or non porous surfaces. If your tub's finish is rough, porous, severely damaged, etched, or pitted, this may not be the proper product for you as it may stain your those types of surfaces. By purchasing and using this product, you are assuming the risk of stain if your tub surface is not non-porous.
